Our team here at Crescent Dental would like to welcome you to our New Brighton office! Dr. Helal is thrilled to serve patients in her hometown in a cozy, homey office with some of the latest technology that modern dentistry has to offer. She wants your visit to be productive, positive, and the first of many. We ask that you carefully review the information listed below before your visit, just so that you have an idea of what to expect. Your First Visit
Above all else, we want to provide you with the best possible experience when you first enter our office – and the last thing we want is for you to feel like your time or your smile, isn’t valuable. When you walk through our doors, you’ll immediately feel at home and at ease, and our front desk staff will get you checked in promptly. We still ask that you complete your new patient forms online through your custom link that can be emailed or texted to you. Or if you would prefer to complete them in our office, arrive 15 mins early and we will have you complete the digital forms on our iPad.
You'll first be looked at by a hygienist who will provide you with a very thorough teeth cleaning – we want your smile to look as good as it feels, after all! Once the cleaning is done, Dr. Helal will come in to do her exam of your mouth. Dr. Helal enjoys getting to know her patients, so don’t be surprised if there’s a lot of friendly conversation going on as she inspects your teeth, gums, and other oral structures. If there’s anything amiss, she’ll quickly find it. She’ll also inquire about your smile goals so that she can begin working with you to help you meet them!
Once she’s finished looking at your mouth and explained her findings to you, we’ll wrap things up by turning you over to our front desk team, who will be sure to schedule your next appointment and send you any other relevant forms or information that you may need.
Patient Forms
To make things as streamlined as possible, we kindly ask that you fill out your new patient forms beforehand. When you make a new patient appointment, we will email or text you a customized link to complete your forms. Or, you can come early to your appointment and complete them on our iPad. Also, be sure to have any previous x-rays emailed to our office so we have them ready to view on your first visit. We can’t wait to meet you!
Dental Insurance
Our practice is pleased to be in-network with Delta Dental Premier Insurance. Though we are out of network for other insurance plans, we are happy to bill the claims on your behalf. If you don’t have insurance, there is no need to worry, we offer an in-house dental savings plan. If you have any specific questions about your insurance plan and your coverage, please feel welcome to contact us so that we can ensure you aren’t confused about your benefits and that you’re making the most of your plan!
Phase Treatments
Frequently, an individual will have several issues that need to be addressed as part of their plan. To reach the ideal solution, we can systematically prepare for reaching your dental health goals by breaking the treatment into phases. This can make your goal affordable over months or even years. Please ask Dr. Helal if you have certain goals you would like to achieve but need to phase the treatment for affordability.
In-Office Dental Savings Plan
Our practice is thrilled to offer an in-office dental benefit program, which is great if you don’t have dental insurance coverage. It works similarly to insurance in the sense that it saves you money on care, but you’ll find it’s much easier to navigate and coordinate than traditional insurance!
