Shannon, Dental Hygienist

Hailing from Coon Rapids, Shannon graduated from the University of Minnesota, earning a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. She has been in the dental field for many years, and she greatly loves teaching patients about proper dental care as well as getting to see the impact that her work has.

Shannon is happily married to her husband Jason. Together, they have twin girls named Addison and Blake; they also have a Weimaraner German Shorthaired Pointer mix named Wheeler. Shannon’s hobbies outside of the dental office include reading, kayaking, photography, mountain biking, plants, breweries, and going to sunny places. An interesting fact about her is that she runs a house-washing business with her husband.

Krista, Dental Hygienist

Krista received her dental education at Mankato State University. She spent fourteen years as a certified and registered dental assistant, and she has more than two decades of experience as a registered dental hygienist. She’s thankful to be able to help patients receive the dental care that’s necessary for a healthy body.

Krista is happily married, and she has two adult children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, fishing, and swimming. She also likes to put her creative mind to use through painting as well as arts and crafts.

Stacy, Front Desk/Licensed Dental Assistant

Stacy has more than three decades of experience as a licensed dental assistant. Her favorite part of the job is getting to form connections with her patients and helping them feel more comfortable while having their smiles treated.

Stacy is married, and she has a teenage son as well as a cat. When she’s not at the office, she enjoys making jewelry and participating in art shows. She also loves hanging out with her family and going to her son’s baseball games.

Mikaela, Dental Assistant

Mikaela’s career in the dental field spans well over five years now. She started out as a receptionist/insurance specialist back in 2017 and then fell into assisting, having gathered a lot of knowledge through tried-and-true experience! She looks forward to attending Century College in Fall of 2024 and completing her AA degree. Today, what she enjoys most about her role at Crescent Dental is being able to help patients restore their smiles and feel more comfortable while also creating lifelong relationships!

At home, Mikaela spends lots of quality time with her daughter Lola, her boyfriend, her two cats (Akiko and Bagheera), and her dog (Rita). Some of her favorite hobbies include taking Lola on adventures and tackling various house projects. She’s also been an avid snowboarder since she was only five years old.
